The University of Pennsylvania is located in the University City district of Philadelphia, PA. Philadelphia is the fifth-largest metropolitan area in the United States, full of culture, arts, dining, and, of course, historical landmarks such as Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Penn’s campus is located within a major hub of diverse activity including fine dining, music and museums, and is a short walk or trolley-ride away from the plethora of activities offered by the city.

Hotel Information
There are two main hotels located very close to Penn’s campus:
1. The Inn at Penn (a Hilton Hotel) — approx $250 per night 2. The Sheraton, University City — approx $150-200 per night
Should you like to spend the night in Center City, it is nice walk (20 min) or easy bus ride to and from Penn’s campus. Taxi fare would run about $7-10.
3. We have blocked 35 rooms at Club Quarters at a group discount rate of $114 per night + taxes and fees. Mention group code UPEN05 when calling. The cut-off date is April 20, 2009; after that, rooms are subject to availability.
