RESEARCH

• Longitudinal Data Models: Modeling relapses among subjects in a clinical trial of a drug to treat alcoholism, using HMM's, Bayesian methods.

            Draft of our first paper: Hidden Markov Models for Alcoholism Treatment Trial Data (Shirley, Small, Lynch, Maisto and Oslin).

• VAM: Value-Added Models in educational testing (analyzing the effects of missing data)
• Baseball Project: Evaluating MLB players fielding ability. Using logit and probit models (frequentist and Bayesian fits) to predict binary outcome of catch/drop.
