Creating a comparative box plot.

We have to stack the columns first.

On the menu at the top of the JMP window select ˇ°Tablesˇ± and click on ˇ°Stackˇ±

Select H and P by clicking on them and click Stack to put them in the appropriate field. Where it says ˇ°Stack Data Columnˇ± write the name of the new column. Where it says ˇ°Stack Label Columnˇ± write the description of the column headings that were stacked. You can use default values. Then click on Stack in the lower left hand corner.

To get comparative boxplots go to ˇ°Analyzeˇ± on the menu at the top of the window and click on Fit Y by X. Select ˇ°Stackˇ± and click ˇ°Y responseˇ±.

Select ˇ°IDˇ± and click ˇ°X Factorˇ±. Click ok. Click the little red triangle at the top of the output, select ˇ°Display Optionsˇ± and then ˇ°Box Plotsˇ±.
